I've been rather intrigued with double pipe instruments, since I was a child and saw them used in a television movie about the Exodus.
Double ocarinas have been around since the 1800's, and are notably made by North Country, Hind, and Langley. What I'm wondering is, are there any makers producing these for under, say US$30-40? Even plastic ones?

The least expensive double ocarinas I know about are those by Charlie Hind. The next least expensive ones are Terry Riley's abstract looking double chamber vessel flutes. Neither are what I would call cheap.
