hi I'm a 19 year old guy from the US and I love playing ocarinas. I started out with a zelda ocarina from songbirdocarinas and then decided to get a classical style one this past december from anitas ocarinas. I play it often and enjoy it alot. I eventually want to try making my own, but as of now I have no access to a kiln so I could only go as far as shaping it (unless you can just let them dry out naturally).
I actually signed up here last fall and completely forgot that I had. and then today I was playing and suddenly it came to me 'oh! I signed up on an ocarina forum!'
nice to meet you all!

Several folks recommend using Sculpey to make ocarinas, which is a form of ceramic you can get at craft stores like Michaels, or maybe even from discount stores, that you don't have to have a kiln.
Welcome to the forum.
